DUMMERSTON – Three people were injured, including an 11-year who was airlifted to the hospital, after a Toyota Tundra rolled over multiple time in Dummerston on Monday.
Police, fire, and rescue units responded to the single-vehicle accident on I-91 north at approximately 5:59 p.m.
According to the report, the driver of a 2004 Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound when he drifted into the center median, attempted to correct the vehicle causing it to roll over multiple times.
Police say the Tundra continued to roll down the embankment on the right side of the road.
Police identified the driver as Robert L Worthington, 66, of Montgomery Center.
The two passengers remain unidentified due to their ages of 11-years-old and 13-years-old.
Ambulance crews transported Worthington and the 13-year-old passenger to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and airlifted the 11-year-old passenger to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Rod’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing, according to authorities.
