Westminster man points gun at dog

WESTMINSTER — Police responded to Shady Pines Trailer Park in Westminster for a weapons offense at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the police report, witnesses say a 54-year-old Westminster man had pointed a firearm at a dog outside of the victim’s residence and threatened to kill it.

A young child was present with the dog at the time.

Police identified the man as Stanley Kissell, 54, from Westminster.

Kissell was arrested and faces charges of disorderly conduct, animal cruelty, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.

  1. They should make sure that they check with all the neighbors to find out why this happened . If the dogs were contained like they are suppose to be by law. And didn’t attack other dogs that are hooked. and chase kids everywhere this probably would not have happened . Lots of complaints about this in the past.

  2. That dog has never attacked another dog & was 10′ in front of my front door, in my yard. If you’re so concerned knock on my door don’t anonymously post crap on Facebook.
