Cigarette crook breaks into Sunoco gas station in Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM – A lone and well-disguised culprit forced his way into the Singh Brothers Sunoco in Rockingham and got away with a copious amount of Marlboro and Newport cigarettes on Monday morning.

Police responded to an alarm report at the gas station on Old Route 103, just off of Exit 6, at approximately 4:42 a.m.

According to the report, video surveillance captured footage of a burglar who forced his way through the front door at approximately 4:33 a.m. and stole numerous cartons of Marlboro and Newport cigarettes.

Police say the man was wearing a zip up hooded windbreaker of a lighter, primary color, with a darker, horizontal stripe across the chest and back.
